Risk Fundamentals (Risk 101) Training (1 day class)
This class concentrates on risk as a management tool, along with providing the theoretical basis needed for software users. Many software products can be used for project planning and implementation, but button clicks and software navigation are only part of the process of implementing a good risk strategy. PRC's Project Management and Risk 101 classes focus on the fundamental knowledge necessary for management, as well as end-users, to change button-clicks into meaningful data.
Risk 101 provides a background in essential procedures and practices. Topics include qualitative risk (documentation & tracking), quantitative risk (Monte Carlo analysis), schedule validation, and understanding common risk charts and reports. While this course is not a software class, it includes an overview of risk analysis software products and their functionality, to increase awareness of the choices currently on the market.
